• This is probably one of the most tragic and traumatic scenes I have seen in any from of fiction. GRR aint got noting on Miura
• Great series, this volume is by far the most important. It explains everything about the character and why the character is the way he is. Be warned, when I first read it I was in tears,. Berserk is greatness.
• This is probably THE most crucial volume of berserk to read to understand why he turns into the Black Swordsman. Lot's of reviews bash the added sound words that have been brought in.. This is true, it is quite irritating while reading but does not take the major effect of the volume away from the reader. This is still a very great volume to own. Was delivered earlier than estimated, no noticeable issues with the book.
• As a Berserk fan, you need this volume.
• I just finished the anime and heard that this is where to pick up, and I will say I’m glad to be able to experience this manga now. Can’t believe I’ve missed it for so long, can’t wait to read more (BCC)
