"This was a delightful tale about an octopus learning how to accomplish what he sets out to do; with the help from five enchanted mermaids. My 8-year-old daughter loved this book. She enjoyed being able to read it on her own and the lessons that it taught. My 5-year-old son enjoyed the pictures as well. The pictures went along with the lessons as they were taught. My daughter liked the mermaids and is looking forward to seeing them again.

I received a copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review. - We are loyal Mermaid fans and were delighted once again to see a book come out discussing social-emotional skills in an age appropriate manner. The writing is easy and direct, and the pictures are beautiful. This is a book that is meant to be read over and over to really ingrain these important skills into children, so that they can begin to use them in the school years and beyond. Thanks Mermaids!
